Christian Aid has an archive of broadcast-quality films relating to development and relief issues, from all around the world. With more than 4,000 hours of footage, taken over the last 10 years, we are one of the largest sources of material on poverty.
We produce films that clearly show how Christian Aid is involved in the issues surrounding poverty and inequality, trade, globalisation, global warming and other areas that affect poor and powerless communities.
As well as storing footage from disasters such as the tsunami, earthquakes and floods, Christian Aid also focuses on the long-term issues that arise in poorer countries, such as trade, the environment and healthcare, as our cameras stay long after the news cameras have gone.
We have filmed many different peoples of this planet: their customs, their work and beliefs. We show immense landscapes, extreme weather conditions, busy urban living and small-scale rural living.
We have films from a diverse range of countries, from Afghanistan to Nicaragua, Sierra Leone to Kosovo and Israel.
All research is free, as is tape-viewing. You only pay for the final footage used. We can supply footage and viewing copies on HDV, Digi-beta, Beta Sp, DVCAM, DVD. |
