Under the terms of the Broadcasting (Funding) Act, 2003, the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland (BCI) is developing a scheme for the archiving of programme material. This scheme is being devised with stakeholders engaged directly in broadcast archiving. Once devised, the scheme will cover a range of areas – outlining objectives, identifying future courses of action and the options available. |
