From Shakespeare to Science: Supporting Best Practice in Student Engagement

This one-day conference will focus on how moving image and sound can be used to enhance student engagement. The day will bring together leading experts and practitioners from across the sector to share best practice, discuss different perspectives and provide practical advice on how specialist audio-visual resources can be used to underpin effective outcomes.

Geo Society Lecture Theatre

Highlights will include an introduction to flipped learning by Dr Damien Mansell, University of Exeter and an interactive session on flipped learning, student partnership and peer instruction by Prof Simon Lancaster, University of East Anglia.

This conference is suitable for all further and higher education practitioners interested in enhancing student engagement. The BUFVC AGM is also scheduled during the day for voting members to attend.
