xv) The Jane Mercer Footage Researcher of the Year Award

SUBMISSIONS ENTRY FORM CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES 1st DECEMBER 2009 Before completing, please ensure that you have read the RULES of ENTRY. To qualify, the Footage Researcher or Researchers (who must be FOCAL International Members) must be primarily responsible for the footage research for a production or productions premiered during the qualifying period 1st January 2009 – 31st December 2009. A special committee will choose the recipient. They will be looking for an individual or team who in the previous year has/have displayed some or all of the following qualities: a depth of knowledge; tenacity; thoroughness; accuracy in factual productions, imagination and an ability to enhance and protect the integrity of archive and stock footage. NB. All Nominees will be asked to email a statement from their Producer / Director in support of the nomination. Supporting visual material is required. There is NO charge for entering this Award category. This must be supported by THREE clean identical copies of the production or episode cited on DVD ("All Zones"). Viewing material should be in English, dubbed or subtitled if possible. If this is not possible, then the orignial language version should be supported by a synopsis in English. Any visual material provided on incorrect formats will not be considered.
