Signs as Official Photographer to
Rugby World Cup 2003
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA,
Tuesday, October 07, 2003 - Getty

that it has renewed its agreement
with the International Rugby Board
and has signed as the official photographers
for the Rugby World Cup 2003, which
takes place in Australia from October
10 to November 22. Under the agreement
Getty Images will have the exclusive
commercial rights to market imagery
from Rugby World Cup 2003, strengthening
its position as the leading photographic
supplier for rugby union and sport
worldwide.
Getty Images' team
of award-winning photographers will
be at all 48 games over the 6 weeks
of the tournament, as the teams travels
across 10 Australian cities. The coverage
will include live action from each
game, in addition to team training
sessions, match preparation and the
colour and atmosphere that surrounds
such a prestigious sporting event.
