GRANADA VISUAL
PROVIDES ANIMAL RING TONES FOR VODAFONE
LIVE!
Granada Visual,
the division responsible for the worldwide
distribution and exploitation of all
Granada footage content, has announced
its latest content launch as part
of their supply deal with the video
enabled Vodafone live! service.
The service, launched
this week, gives Vodafone live! customers
access to a range of more unusual
ring tones from Granada Visual's extensive
wildlife and natural history programming
collection.
Granada Visual is
launching 12 ring tones ranging from
the gentle purring of a domestic cat
to more sinister and spooky - howling
wolves and roaring lions!

General Manager of Granada Visual
commented on this latest move: 'Regular
music ring tones are currently hugely
popular and recently have been reported
to potentially generate more than
£2.5bn per year worldwide, overtaking
the more traditional products such
as CD singles. We think that this
is something really different which
will be a fun addition to personalising
our phones.'
The deal which was
originally signed in April of this
year, and provides Vodafone live!
with a complete package of entertainment
options ranging from video clips to
audio, screen savers to celebrity
images.
