Moving Image Communications extend their outstanding service
internationally

Moving Image have signed Third Millennium and Film World Pty Ltd to
represent them respectively in North America and in the Asia-Pacific
region. Third Millemium and Film World join the four agents Moving Image
has already appointed outside the UK: l'Atelier des Archives in France,
April Film in Sweden and DCR and Shots Film & Video in Spain.

These new and exciting partnerships mean that the extensive Moving Image
collections are now easily available to clients in overseas territories,
via local and well established agents. Moving Image sees these new
developments as an important step forward in developing ongoing
relationships with key international stock footage libraries.

Third Millennium in New York, USA, is the representative of many American
independent cinematographers for their archival and recent stockshots.
Film World Pty Ltd near Sydney, Australia, is the leading footage content
provider in the Asia-Pacific and represent many local and international
content providers for both archival and contemporary stock shots.

Moving Image’s diverse archival and contemporary collections, from early
cinema items from Filmfinders to wildlife films from Wild Islands, will be
an excellent new resource for overseas clients.

Stunning HD stockshots from Spain now available at Moving Image

After announcing the arrival of HD aerials of London, Moving Image
Communications now have stunning HD footage from all over Spain and the
Canary Islands available.
Whether its flying high over the Mediterranean Ocean or sunny landscapes
from Spain, Shots Film & Video - who is also acting as Moving Image's
agent in Spain, have it all.

The high quality collection of footage contains shots of ancient
architecture, agricultural landscapes, town and village, flyfishing,
construction, nature and vineyard films all shot on High Definition.

So whether it’s the hustle and bustle of busy Madrid or the tranquil
scenes of a fishing boat out in the Mediterranean Ocean, Moving Image can
supply either.

When Greg Dyke met the TV-am library team.

Greg Dyke, TV-am Editor in Chief in 1983, famously rescued the company by
revamping the programme and making it popular with the help of Roland Rat,
Chris Tarrant, Nick Owen and Anne Diamond.
The TV-am library is now held and managed by Moving Image Communications
Ltd. During the Focal International Awards hold on 15th May 2006 at the
Savoy Hotel in London, director Michael Maloney and library manager
Nathalie Banaigs were delighted to meet Greg Dyke who was happy to see
that TV-am's wonderful archives are being looked after...

Freud Home movies now available on DVD.

Moving Image Communications has produced a DVD featuring the Freud Home
movies it holds in its archives.
Made from amateur footage shot between 1930 and 1939, the film starts with
a colour introduction by Anna Freud, Freud's youngest daughter. She
provides a commentary that includes invaluable information about the
everyday events and special moments in the Freud family life.

When Prince Charles met Sir David Frost...

Prince Charles, along with his two sons Princes William and Harry,
recently gave an interview to TV presenters Ant and Dec, where the young
Princes explain how they keep their father in touch with the times.
Moving Image holds a unique film 'A Prince for Wales' shot in 1969 just
before his investiture at the age of 19, in which Prince Charles gave his
first public interview to Sir David Frost. The Prince talks about his
childhood, his expectations and his future role as the Prince of Wales.
The film also features the investiture ceremony.
