OSF signs
up Absolutely Wild Visuals
OSF has appointed Absolutely Wild
Visuals as its new representative
for its footage library in Australia.
The deal gives Absolutely Wild Visuals
exclusive rights to license OSF footage
in Australia and non-exclusive rights
in New Zealand and Asia. Absolutely
Wild Visuals is a commercial, on-line
provider of high-end, rights-managed
stock footage and is one of Australia's
foremost independent wildlife stock
footage collections.
Jane Mulleneux, Head of Collection
at OSF, commented 'This deal has been
a natural progression of our existing
association with Absolutely Wild Visuals.
OSF already represent the Absolutely
Wild Visuals collection outside Australasia
and so a reciprocal agreement allowing
them to represent our footage has
been an easy step to make; our collections
compliment each other perfectly. The
deal will add 2000 hours of OSF's
world-renowned footage to the Absolutely
Wild Visuals library, creating a premier
resource of moving images for the
Australasian market. Absolutely Wild
Visuals have extensive experience
of the Australian markets, they are
making significant inroads in to Asia,
they provide an excellent level of
service and have a strong online presence,
all key considerations for OSF when
identifying a new agent for the region'.
Absolutely Wild Visuals' Library
Manager, Fiona Pearce Burrows, explained
'This deal with OSF is an exciting
development for Absolutely Wild Visuals,
and coincides with our advances into
the Asian film and TV market. The
OSF collection will allow us to offer
our clients a vast amount of high
quality footage that we've previously
not had on offer, especially in the
areas of medical science and special
effects. We are delighted to find
OSF is like-minded in their philosophy
where serving clients efficiently
and cost effectively with the highest
quality footage available is always
a priority'.
OSF has a long-established library,
which will add strong images, including
footage of nature, wildlife, science
and medicine, global locations, timelapse
and special effects to compliment
the Absolutely Wild Visuals range.
