The Jane Mercer Training Award

In memory of Jane Mercer, FOCAL International has established the Jane Mercer Training Award. The Award is intended to provide assistance to those wishing to further their professional development in the footage industry and its associated areas. FOOTAGE TRAINING WEEK

A week long course designed for anyone from anywhere in the world who needs to know more about the footage industry - image archivists, footage researchers, production managers, producers, directors – whatever your media background, learn how to expand your knowledge and appreciation of the world of footage archives, their systems and uses.

The cost of the course is £800 + VAT (early bird rate of £700 + VAT applies on all bookings made before 1st April 2008). Includes seminars, lunches, some transport between training venues, plus social event aboard HMS Belfast. Accommodation NOT included.
