BUFVC, 77 Wells Street, London

Next course date: Friday 4 March – Book your place now

Presented by Catherine Chambers, Open University

This innovative one-day course covers the teaching role of video. The course will aim to show participants how video can enhance the learning experience, when you might use video as a learning resource and how you would design a good learning video.

By the end of the course participants will be able to do the following:

  • Understand why video is an important tool for learning and teaching
  • Be able to identify what makes good video for teaching and learning purposes
  • Be familiar with different approaches to video according to teaching use
  • Understand how video works with the rest of your material

This course will provide participants with a clear understanding of why and how to use a visual as opposed to a text-based approach in teaching.
