Specialising in amateur films and historic home movies preserving the collective memory of European people. Private film documents and found footage in all formats documenting the daily life in Europe, from 1903 onwards. Collection includes Berlin in the Twenties, Germany in the Thirties and the Forties; World War II: German soldiers filmed in Poland, Russia (incl. Stalingrad), Greece, France, Italy, Africa and in Nazi Germany; The Post War Years; German landscapes and cityscapes. The daily life in East Germany - 1945-1990; The Beatles & Stones collection.
All films are transferred to Betacam / DigiBeta videotapes and archived as digital masters. On their sound tracks we record, whenever possible, the narrated memories of those enthusiasts, who gave us their films. Requests welcome by phone, fax and email. Screeners within 48 hours.
