1.“A Hollywood Mystery – how to clear studios, talent, directors and writers”
Featuring a celebrity appearance by FOCAL Executive member Elizabeth Klinck from Canada who will speak on the ins and outs of clearing Hollywood footage and all the inherent third party rights.
Elizabeth Klinck is a FOCAL member, and an archive producer with extensive experience negotiating with Hollywood studios, agents and unions.
These can be complex clearances to negotiate. This workshop is a unique opportunity to learn the basics of what’s involved and tips on how to succeed – we hope you to see there!
2. A must for all Archive Researchers and Producers finding clips for their productions – FOCAL International and BAFTA will be demonstrating a tool to store, transcode, log, view and deliver all your clips, collected in one place for you and your producers to browse and share. We will be demonstrating the technology and holding a Q&A regarding researchers’ and producers’ use of the system.
We are delighted that BAFTA has agreed to hold it at their building in Piccadilly
There will a pay bar.
