Complimentary registration will be given to Visual Researchers to Attend History Makers International, Jan 25-27 2012 in New York

History Makers International is pleased to invite footage and image researchers to apply to our newly expanded Global Researcher Program. The event, the only gathering of international visual researchers, producers, broadcasters, and archives in North America, has now opened the 2012 program to researchers globally. Successful applicants will receive complimentary delegate passes to attend History Makers International 2012, which takes place at the Millennium Broadway Hotel in New York City.

"Archives and Visual Researchers are dedicated to the production of Historical programs and are thus steeped in the issues we present at our sessions. They are also the prime customers of archive and footage companies, important sponsors and exhibitors at our event. I am so pleased to assist Researchers' attendance and participation in History Makers International," Bill Nemtin, Executive Producer of the event said.

The researcher program was launched last year in partnership with Thought Equity Motion. After the success of the 2011 inaugural program, they have decided to continue and increase their support at History Makers International 2012.

“Our company’s mission is to use technology to unlock access to the world’s footage libraries, which is why working with researchers as they discover and incorporate video into their productions is so important to us.” said Kevin Schaff, CEO & Founder of Thought Equity Motion. “We’re committed to growing this program and bringing researchers from around the world together at History Makers 2012. The conference is a great forum for the visual research community to meet current affairs and non-fiction producers and colleagues from footage libraries and archival associations. We’re looking forward to talking to this year’s program recipients about the latest tools, resources, and best practices for archival footage research and licensing.”

Thought Equity Motion will be joined in their support by other international Archives as well as ACSIL, Focal International and the Visual Researchers Society of Canada.
