3 June 2007
Have you ever thought it might be nice to have a place where you could casually meet other researchers or archive producers? A place to have a drink and share information, catch up on gossip and find out what's happening? Are you from out of town and wondering what's going on?
Footage Farm has long felt the need for a central location where people from our industry, can meet to exchange ideas and information; a regular time and place that one can expect to find colleagues to share a glass with.
Beginning Wednesday, 6 June, and every Wednesday thereafter, the Footage Farmers will be hanging out at Manouche Wine Bar and providing a couple of bottles of wine to share with anyone in the footage community. When the wine runs out we can just continue to buy each other drinks.
So if you find yourself in town on a Wednesday, from 6 to 7.30pm be sure to drop in. You never know who might be there.
Get into the habit! Put Wednesdays as a regular event in your diaries and find us at the front table to the left of the stairs .
