Rare 35mm footage of Pink Floyd in the English countryside had been unearthed by ITN Source. The footage is part of the British Pathe collection which ITN Source represents. Previously it was only available in 16mm FILM.
This unique footage was shot in an unidentified countryside location features shots of the original members of Pink Floyd - Nick Mason, Roger Waters, Syd Barratt and Richard Wright, wandering through cornfields, looking at scarecrows and swapping hats with them to the accompaniment of the Pink Floyd song ‘The Scarecrow’. It also features Roger Waters and Nick Mason having a pretend shoot-out!
ITN Source also plan to transfer the 35mm version into a HD format later this year - 35mm is the ideal format for conversion to HD. The footage lasts 2 minutes and six seconds and was shot on 21 September 1967.
