Film Night - Rosie Newman: "Britain at War"
18 October, 6.30pm - 9.00pm

Join Jane Fish, a curator in the IWM Film and Video Archive, as she explores the history of wartime film maker Miss Rosie Newman. This remarkable woman obtained unprecedented access to film in Britain during the Second World War. Jane will reveal the story behind Miss Newman's unique colour film of the Home Front including footage of London's West End during the Blitz.

The illustrated talk begins at 7.30pm and lasts approximately one hour.
